Plague & Brides

Here are two pieces that I completed this week. Squire Hamilton from 'Plague of the Zombies', in green, followed by Marianne Danielle from 'Brides of Dracula' in the pink!
I was recently laid off from my job of eight years and am now trying to decide what direction I need to take. I'm considering taking on some freelance, but I don't even know where to begin. I'm ready for a change...

  3. hello, belle. these are bloody gorgeous!
especially impressed with your composition/decorative framing and use of color.
you should definitely seek freelance work, i can see you doing some killer t-shirt art or creepy kids books.
    good luck!

  4. Thank You Shane!! That means a lot to me coming from such a great artist! I really love your work. Are you doing a piece for the new 'Little Shoppe' that's coming up in a few months?
I would like to do freelance if I can, I've just never done it before, so I don't really know what steps to take. I'm trying to do some pieces that aren't horror movie/Halloween related to add to my portfolio. Just to show that I can do other types of things. It's not nearly as much fun though :)

  6. Well we've already discussed the whole job thing. But I couldn't agree more with these folks. You REALLY need to take this opportunity and get your work out there. Great pieces my friend!
