A friend sent me this photo he took of a newsletter cover from 1952.
Here is some Halloween merchandise that I picked up & received as gifts this year.
Here are some sketches I did that I haven't had time to turn into final pieces yet.
Fredrick, Igor and Inga from 'Young Frankenstein'.
Tomorrow I will be getting up to enjoy this years Martha Stewart Halloween Show on tv, then I'm going to catch up on all the shows that ran this week on marthastewart.com.
I love your drawings. You are very talented.
ReplyDeletethose sketches are fantastic! I wish you could create HALLOWEEN: The animated series, that would rock
ReplyDeleteLove the post! Also can't wait to see the finished versions of the Halloween ladies & the Young Frankenstein sketches!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your sketches! I have those owl salt n' pepper shakers too! ^_^
ReplyDeleteWOW! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Halloween ladies and the Young Frankenstein sketches! Two of my favorite films...ever!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you all!!
ReplyDeleteThe two sketches will indeed become finished pieces at some point. I have the 'Young Frankenstein' one sketched out. It will be in a movie poster style. It will also include Peter Boyle as the monster and Madeline Kahn as Elizabeth/The Bride. If I can squeeze in Inspector Kemp and Frau Blucher (cue horses), that would be great!
Jay, yes, Halloween the animated series would rock! That's actually how I try to pattern most of my work. As if they were for an animated show.
